Rather nice new EP from JKB, seems like he is really back to his old ways after the recent few releases that at times didn't quite hit the mark. This one is all done by himself which is pretty intereting as the drumming here (particulary on Opiate Sun) sounds very much live and not of the drum box calibre, interesting stuff indeed. The four tracks are certainly good and pretty much standard Jesu fare but it's done well with a lot more melody and dirt that harkens back to the awesome Silver Ep from a good few years ago albeit witout the more pounding tracks. Losing Streak in particular is a slow dragged out chugging riff attack.
Nice stuff indeed, but seeing as this one has been on the books for a good while now it's certainly nothing new for JKB. Can't complain at all though, not at all.
